BANK CLERK: Good morning, sir.

BILL : Good morning. I'd like to change some money.

CLERK: Certainly. What money have you got?

BILL : I've got French francs.

CLERK: And how much do you want to change?

BILL : A hundred francs.

CLERK: That's nine pounds, eighty-five pence. How would you like it?

BlLL: One five-pound note, three one-pound notes and the rest of the money in silver.

CLERK: Here you are.

BILL : Thankyou.. . And I'd like to cash a cheque.

CLERK: Do you bank here?

BILL : Yes, I do. Here's the cheque.

CLERK: Twenty pounds. . . In five-pound notes?

BILL : Yes, please. . . Thankyou. . . Goodbye!

CLERK: Goodbye, sir.

 

CERTAINLY: Yes.

CHANGE MONEY: give foreign money and receive English money

SILVER: five pence pieces, ten pence pieces and fifty pence pieces
